Refund policy

Sales Contract

A Sales Contract by definition sets out the terms for a sale between two parties: the seller who offers goods or services (in this case, Malaga Car Audio) and the buyer (you, the client) who wants to purchase them. This contract serves as a formal record of the transaction, protects the interests of both parties and ensures that the sale runs smoothly.

A Sales Contract is enacted automatically once a booking or order is made between you, "the client" and us, Malaga Car Audio.

This includes item purchases, items pre-orders, installation bookings & deposits.

 

Refunds

All sales are final, unless otherise stated.

We do not offer "Cooling Off Periods" or "Change of Mind Refunds"

Refunds will only be given at the discretion of Malaga Car Audio and may come with a re-stocking fee of up to 25% of the purchase price.

Any costs, such as shipping fees from our wholesale suppliers &/or shipping fees from Malaga Car Audio to you,"the client" will also be deducted from any non-fault refunds.

 

Deposit Payments

Deposit payments are used by us "Malaga Car Audio" to ensure that you, "the client" has agreed to the terms of your sales contract and that you intend to honour them in full.

As such, all Deposit Payments are NON-REFUNDABLE

Your deposit is required for the following reasons:
 - To book & secure an appointment on our schedule
 - To make payment towards any items that require special order
 - To cover our costs in the event that you do not honour the sales contract in full

For any deposit, we generally request an up front payment of up to 50%

For special order items, we request the full payment for the item/s to be made before we will order the item/s.

 

Warranty & Returns

All goods are covered under the manufacturers statutory warranty.

Any defects must be reported within the warranty period.

We will replace or repair faulty goods under the guidance of the product manufacturer  and have it shipped back to you as soon as possible.

Any item that has been damaged, misused, tampered with or installed incorrectly will not be covered under statutory warranty.

Subwoofers and Speakers with burnt voice coils will not be covered under warranty.

The buyer is responsible for return shipping charges.

If you are shipping an item over $100.00, you should consider using a hipping service with tracking facilities or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
